I am a serial social entrepreneur focused now on Green Action projects: From 1976-1994 I created JUGGLEBUG, the first manufacturer and importer of recreational juggling equipment in the World, and I created the seminal texts and most respected instructional videos in that area selling over 1,000,000 books in six languages. I grew the company to $1,000,000 per year in product sales and sold it to Sportime in 1994. From 1976-2006 I presented over 2,000 all-day school engagements in 46 states and 12 countries, and was a speaker for over 200 exciting keynotes, earning the Certified Speaking Professional the highest award of the National Speakers Association. Now our school program, The Green Action Club, gets families focused on sustainability. Kids and parents come to Family Night where they go through a Green Action Checklist of purchases and actions to reduce their carbon and water footprints. Next we will create a Green Action app that consumers can use to read UPC codes and discover how "green" a product is, earning discounts for themselves and rebates for a school or other organization. Together with Bill Ferree I'm planning/seeking funding for our proposal to "Detox the Fleet," to convert the 13 million commercial vehicles in the US from petroleum to electric.
