Susan Cantrell is currently CEO of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. She was previously Senior Vice President and Managing Director, DIA Americas. Before joining DIA, Susan was with the American Society of Health‐System Pharmacists, a professional society for which she worked for 19 years in a series of progressively responsible positions. She most recently served as Vice President, Resources Development, where she led the Society’s efforts associated with non-dues revenue generating, including domestic and international business development. Susan is a graduate of the University of Mississippi College of Pharmacy and she completed an ASHP-accredited hospital pharmacy residency program at University of Mississippi Medical Center. A registered pharmacist and former hospital pharmacy administrator, she has extensive experience in pharmacy management, member and external relations, medical education, health policy, and nonprofit association management. She is certified by the American Society of Association Executives as a certified association executive. She is an active member of the DIA, the American Society of Association Executives, the American Society of Health‐System Pharmacists, and the International Pharmaceutical Federation.
